I am excited to share my portfolio— a collection of my most accopmlished projects! Since I was a child, I have been passionate about art. All kinds of art-- from classic paintings, to modern digital, and everything in between. I owe a lot of what I know to the TXST School of Art and Design. So, have a look below, and enjoy!
The following are just a handful of my pencil sketches and drawings. What I love most about working with pencil is the level of control and precision that goes into each stroke. I get to decide what each individual line expresses, how it moves, and where it leads. The possibilites are endless with this classic tool!
Digital art creation is a skill that is still very new to me. To create the following pieces, I used my handy-dandy Wacom tablet. The Wacom tablet works as an external monitor/touch screen situation. I use the accompanying pen to draw on the tablet screen, which then works through my computer's hard drive. I also use programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator for these drawings. I hope to someday master using my tablet for digital art, but for now, I am still very much an apprentice!
Below you can find a little bit of what I am currently working on for Austin Film Festival. I am a marketing design and social media inten for them at the moment. I often get the opportunity to create various graphics, print work, and social media posts for AFF. I love working with them, and can't wait for the festival this October! In particular, these posts you see were created for Instagram to promote the Film and Food passes. The first you see was for standard page posting, while the second was for use in an Instagram "story".
